Hank Aaron
Born February 5, 1934
American baseball Hall of Famer who hit 755 career home runs and broke Babe Ruth's long-standing record.
Hank Aaron, nicknamed "Hammerin' Hank," was born in Mobile, Alabama. He began with the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro Leagues before joining the Braves, where he spent 21 seasons in Milwaukee and Atlanta. In 1957 he was named the National League's Most Valuable Player and helped the Braves win the World Series. On April 8, 1974, he passed Babe Ruth's mark of 714 home runs, and he finished his career with 755 after two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. Aaron later worked as a Braves executive, pushed for more minority hiring in baseball, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002.

Roger Staubach

Hall of Fame Dallas Cowboys quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner nicknamed "Captain Comeback."
Roger Staubach was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the U.S. Naval Academy he became an All-American quarterback and won the 1963 Heisman Trophy as the top college player. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Navy until 1969 before joining the Dallas Cowboys, who had drafted him years earlier. With Staubach at quarterback, the Cowboys reached four Super Bowls and won two, and he was named MVP of his first Super Bowl victory. His talent for rallying his team in the final minutes earned him the nickname "Captain Comeback." He entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985, built a successful real estate company, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018.

Michael Mann was born in Chicago and studied English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before earning a master's degree from the London School of Film. He started out writing for TV police shows like Starsky and Hutch and created the series Vega$. His TV movie The Jericho Mile won him an Emmy for writing. In the 1980s he was executive producer of the hit series Miami Vice. As a film director, Mann is known for sleek, realistic crime stories, including Thief, Heat with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, and Collateral. His film The Insider received seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. He also directed Ali, Public Enemies, and Ferrari.
