John Adams
Born October 30, 1735
Founding Father who served as the first U.S. vice president and the second president of the United States.
John Adams was an American Founding Father from a farming family in Braintree, Massachusetts. He graduated from Harvard College in 1755 and became one of Boston's most successful lawyers. An early supporter of independence, he was a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congresses and sat on the committee that prepared the Declaration of Independence in 1776. During the Revolution he served as a diplomat in Europe, helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris, and later became the first U.S. minister to England. He was the nation's first vice president under George Washington from 1789 to 1797 and then served as the second president from 1797 to 1801 as a Federalist. His wife was Abigail Adams, and their son John Quincy Adams also became president.

Henry Winkler

American actor, producer, and author famous as the Fonz on Happy Days and an Emmy winner for Barry.
Henry Winkler is an American actor, director, producer, and author from Manhattan, New York. He studied at Emerson College and the Yale School of Drama. In 1974 he first appeared as Arthur "the Fonz" Fonzarelli on the sitcom Happy Days, which ran until 1984; the cool, leather-jacketed character became a pop culture sensation and Winkler eventually received top billing. He also worked behind the camera as a producer and director, including on MacGyver, and appeared in films such as The Waterboy and Scream and in the comedy Arrested Development. In 2018 he began playing acting coach Gene Cousineau on HBO's Barry and won his first Emmy Award for the role. He has also co-written children's books with Lin Oliver.

Argentine soccer star who captained Argentina to victory at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
Diego Maradona was an Argentine soccer player and coach from the Buenos Aires area. As a boy he starred for the youth team Los Cebollitas, and he went on to play for Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Barcelona, and Napoli, where he helped the Italian club win league titles. A creative midfielder, he scored 34 goals in 91 games for Argentina. He captained his country to the 1986 World Cup title, scoring two famous goals against England in the quarterfinal, including the dazzling run known as the "Goal of the Century." He also led Argentina to the 1990 World Cup final. A FIFA poll named him a top player of the 20th century, and he later coached Argentina's national team, working with a young Lionel Messi.
