American businessman who co-founded Microsoft and later focused on philanthropy through his large charitable foundation.
Bill Gates is an American business leader born in Seattle, Washington. At 19 he left Harvard University, and in 1975 he and his friend Paul Allen started Microsoft in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company moved to the Seattle area a few years later. Microsoft took a leading role in the young personal computer industry after Gates licensed its MS-DOS operating system to IBM in 1980. Gates served as chief executive and was the company's largest shareholder, and he stayed on as chairman until 2014. In 1999 he and his wife created what became the largest charitable foundation in the United States. He has since devoted much of his time to charity and published a memoir, Source Code.

She went on to lead popular films such as My Best Friend's Wedding, Notting Hill, and Runaway Bride, which together earned about $1 billion around the world. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the 2000 film Erin Brockovich. She was also the first woman paid $20 million for a film role, and she has produced movies through her own company.

Brad Paisley is an American country music star from Glen Dale, West Virginia. He began playing guitar at age eight, led a band at ten, and at fourteen became the youngest regular cast member of the Jamboree USA radio show in Wheeling. After attending Belmont University, he released his debut album, Who Needed Pictures, in 1999, and its song "He Didn't Have to Be" reached No. 1. He joined the Grand Ole Opry in 2001. Paisley is known for his excellent guitar work and clever, often funny songwriting. He has won Grammy Awards, been named CMA Entertainer of the Year, and co-hosted the CMA Awards with Carrie Underwood.
