American lawyer and politician who served as first lady, U.S. senator from New York, and secretary of state.
Hillary Rodham Clinton is an American lawyer and politician born in Chicago. She graduated from Wellesley College and Yale Law School, then taught law at the University of Arkansas and worked at a Little Rock law firm. She was first lady of Arkansas for twelve years and later first lady of the United States. In 2000 New York voters elected her to the U.S. Senate, making her the first former first lady to win a Senate seat, and she was reelected in 2006. From 2009 she served four years as secretary of state under President Barack Obama, traveling to more than 100 countries. In 2016 she became the first woman to win a major party's presidential nomination.

Mahalia Jackson

American gospel singer known as the "Queen of Gospel," famed for her powerful voice and civil rights performances.
Mahalia Jackson was an American gospel singer often called the "Queen of Gospel." Born in New Orleans, she started singing in church at age four. As a teenager she moved to Chicago, where she joined a Baptist church choir and worked with gospel songwriter Thomas A. Dorsey. Her 1947 record "Move On Up a Little Higher" became a huge seller and made her famous worldwide. She sang at Carnegie Hall in 1950 for an integrated audience, toured Europe, and appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. A strong supporter of the civil rights movement, she sang at the 1963 March on Washington at the request of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She also won Grammy Awards.

Pat Sajak
Born October 26, 1946
American television host who led the game show Wheel of Fortune for 41 years alongside Vanna White.
Pat Sajak is an American television host from Chicago, best known for hosting the game show Wheel of Fortune. After graduating from Columbia College in Chicago, he joined the Army and worked as a disc jockey for Armed Forces Radio in Saigon during the Vietnam War. He went on to radio and TV jobs and became a weatherman for a Los Angeles station in 1977. In 1981 producer Merv Griffin picked him to host Wheel of Fortune, and the show moved into syndication in 1983. Working with co-host Vanna White, he hosted more than 8,000 episodes over 41 years before stepping down in 2024. Ryan Seacrest took over as host.
