American actor and former pro wrestler known as The Rock, star of the Fast & Furious and Jumanji films.
Dwayne Johnson is an American actor and former professional wrestler from Hayward, California. Both his father and grandfather wrestled professionally. He played football at the University of Miami and spent a short time in the Canadian Football League. In 1996 he joined the WWF, and as "The Rock" he became a fan favorite famous for his speeches and showmanship, winning his first world title in 1998. He moved into movies with The Mummy Returns (2001) and went on to star in the Fast & Furious series, the Jumanji films, San Andreas, and Hercules. He was also part of the animated Moana franchise. On television he starred in the HBO comedy Ballers and hosted The Titan Games.

David Beckham is an English former soccer player from Leytonstone, London, admired for his skill on free kicks. With Manchester United he won Premier League titles, FA Cups, and the European Cup. He later played for Real Madrid, then joined the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007, where he won two MLS Cup titles. He also had spells with AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain before retiring in 2013. Beckham captained England and scored at three World Cups, finishing with 115 international appearances, a record for an outfield player at the time. He is married to Victoria Beckham, formerly of the Spice Girls, and has been knighted.

German-born empress of Russia from 1762 to 1796 who expanded the empire and championed Enlightenment culture.
Catherine the Great was born Princess Sophie of Anhalt-Zerbst in Stettin, Prussia, today Szczecin, Poland. She came to Russia at 15, joined the Orthodox Church, took the name Catherine, and married Grand Duke Peter in 1745. In 1762 she took the throne with the army's backing and ruled as empress until 1796. Through two wars with the Ottoman Empire, Russia gained the Crimean Peninsula and land along the Black Sea, and she also took part in three partitions of Poland. Catherine admired Western thinkers, wrote articles and plays, and supported publishing, theater, and architecture. She founded the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, opened Russia's first school for girls, and expanded public schooling.
