American comedian, writer, and talk-show host known for Late Night, Conan, and his hit podcast.
Conan O'Brien is an American comedian and late-night television host from Brookline, Massachusetts. At Harvard University he studied U.S. history and literature and was twice elected president of the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine. He then wrote for Saturday Night Live, winning an Emmy in 1989, and later worked as a writer and producer on The Simpsons. In 1993 NBC picked him to host Late Night, and he went on to host The Tonight Show and then Conan on TBS until 2021. He also launched the popular podcast Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend in 2018, hosted the Academy Awards in 2025, and received the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

London-born conductor who built the famous Philadelphia Orchestra sound and led the music in Disney's Fantasia.
Leopold Stokowski was a conductor born in London who studied at the Royal College of Music and at Oxford before moving to the United States in 1905. After leading the Cincinnati Symphony, he took charge of the Philadelphia Orchestra and shaped it into one of the world's leading ensembles, creating a rich, smooth string tone that became known as the Philadelphia sound. Millions of moviegoers saw him conduct in Walt Disney's Fantasia in 1940. He was a strong supporter of new music, giving premieres of works by composers such as Rachmaninoff and Schoenberg. He later founded the All-American Youth Orchestra and the American Symphony Orchestra and kept recording into his nineties.

Miguel Cabrera

Venezuelan baseball star who won the 2012 Triple Crown and reached both 500 home runs and 3,000 hits.
Miguel Cabrera is a Venezuelan baseball player from Maracay who became one of the top hitters of his generation. He signed with the Florida Marlins at age 16, debuted in the major leagues in June 2003 with a game-winning home run, and helped the Marlins win the World Series that same year. Traded to the Detroit Tigers in 2007, he made history in 2012 by leading the American League in batting average, home runs, and runs batted in, becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 45 years. He was named AL MVP in both 2012 and 2013. In 2021 he hit his 500th home run, and in 2022 he collected his 3,000th hit.
