Charlie Chaplin
Born April 16, 1889
British-born comedian, filmmaker, and composer famous for his silent-film character the Little Tramp.
Charlie Chaplin was a comic actor, writer, director, and composer born in London. Both of his parents were entertainers, and he began performing on stage as a young boy. In 1910 he toured the United States with the Fred Karno comedy company, and in late 1913 he joined Mack Sennett's Keystone film studio. There he developed the Little Tramp, the silent-film character that became his most famous screen role. In 1919 he helped found United Artists with Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, and D.W. Griffith. His classic films include The Kid, The Gold Rush, City Lights, Modern Times, and The Great Dictator. He later received an honorary Academy Award in 1972 and was knighted in 1975.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Born April 16, 1947
American basketball Hall of Famer known for his skyhook shot, six NBA championships, and six MVP awards.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is an American basketball star born Lew Alcindor in New York City. Under coach John Wooden at UCLA, he helped win three national championships from 1967 to 1969. He then played for the Milwaukee Bucks and, from 1975, the Los Angeles Lakers, winning six NBA championships and six Most Valuable Player awards. In 1971 he took the name Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. His signature shot, the skyhook, was almost impossible to block. When he retired in 1989, he was the NBA's all-time leading scorer with 38,387 points, a mark that lasted until 2023. He entered the Hall of Fame in 1995 and has become a respected author and commentator, receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.

Henry Mancini was an American composer and arranger born in Cleveland, Ohio, who grew up in West Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He learned the flute and piano as a boy and studied at Juilliard before serving in World War II. Afterward he worked as a pianist and arranger with the Glenn Miller orchestra led by Tex Beneke, then wrote music for Universal Studios. Working often with director Blake Edwards, he scored the TV series Peter Gunn and films such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Pink Panther, and Days of Wine and Roses. With lyricist Johnny Mercer, he wrote "Moon River" and "Days of Wine and Roses," which each won both an Academy Award and a Grammy. In total he won 4 Oscars and 20 Grammys.
