English singer, songwriter, and bassist of the Beatles who later led Wings and built a long solo career.
Paul McCartney is an English musician born in Liverpool. As the Beatles' bass player and a lead singer, he wrote most of the band's songs with John Lennon under the shared credit Lennon-McCartney. He sang lead on classics such as Yesterday, Penny Lane, and Hey Jude. After the Beatles split in 1970, he formed Wings with his wife Linda, and the group scored many hits during the 1970s. He has also released many solo albums, written classical works such as the Liverpool Oratorio, and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both with the Beatles and on his own. Queen Elizabeth II knighted him in 1997.

American film critic for the Chicago Sun-Times who won a Pulitzer Prize and co-hosted TV movie reviews with Gene Siskel.
Roger Ebert was an American film critic born in Urbana, Illinois. He started out as a teenage sportswriter for a local newspaper and joined the Chicago Sun-Times in 1966, becoming its movie critic within months. In 1975 he became the first film critic to receive a Pulitzer Prize. That same year he began reviewing movies on television with fellow critic Gene Siskel, and their famous thumbs-up and thumbs-down verdicts made them household names. Ebert wrote many books, including The Great Movies series and the memoir Life Itself. He also founded an annual film festival in Champaign, Illinois, ran the website rogerebert.com, and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Hall of Fame outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals who set baseball's career stolen-base record and collected 3,023 hits.
Lou Brock was an American baseball outfielder born in El Dorado, Arkansas. He began his major league career with the Chicago Cubs in 1961 and moved to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1964, where he played until 1979. A daring base runner, he stole 118 bases in 1974 at age 35, a single-season record at the time. In 1977 he passed Ty Cobb's career mark, and he finished with 938 steals, a record that lasted until 1991. He also reached 3,023 career hits. Brock starred in the World Series, helping St. Louis win the title in 1967. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985 in his first year on the ballot.
