Frank Lloyd Wright
Born June 8, 1867
American architect who created the Prairie style and designed landmarks such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Robie House.
Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect and writer from Richland Center, Wisconsin. After studying civil engineering at the University of Wisconsin, he moved to Chicago in 1887 and began designing homes. He became the leading figure of the Prairie style, known for low roofs with deep overhangs and long rows of windows, and this approach shaped much of 20th-century American house design. His well-known works include the Robie House in Chicago, the Martin House in Buffalo, the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, and the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. He believed buildings should grow out of the natural forms around them. Over his career he produced more than 1,100 designs, and 532 of them were built.

The couple raised six children, including George W. Bush, who became the 43rd president, and Jeb Bush. When her husband served as the 41st president, she was first lady from 1989 to 1993. She was known for a warm, witty style and informal White House gatherings. Her main cause was reading: in 1989 she started the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. She also wrote several books, including Millie's Book, told from the view of her family's springer spaniel, and a memoir published in 1995.

Tim Berners-Lee
Born June 8, 1955
British computer scientist who invented the World Wide Web and founded the World Wide Web Consortium.
Tim Berners-Lee is a British computer scientist from London who is credited with inventing the World Wide Web. His parents both worked on one of the first commercial computers, and he graduated from the University of Oxford in 1976. While working at CERN, the European physics laboratory, he wrote a 1989 proposal for a worldwide system of linked documents on the Internet. He then created the first web server and browser, along with the core building blocks HTML, HTTP, and the web address system, and the first website went live in 1991. He chose to make the software free for anyone to use. In 1994 he founded the World Wide Web Consortium at MIT. He was knighted in 2004 and received the Turing Award for 2016.
