Grover Cleveland
Born March 18, 1837
22nd and 24th U.S. president, the only one to serve two non-consecutive terms in the White House.
Stephen Grover Cleveland was born in Caldwell, New Jersey. He clerked at a law office in Buffalo, New York, became a lawyer in 1859, and built a reputation for fighting corruption as Erie County sheriff and then mayor of Buffalo. After serving as governor of New York, he was elected president in 1884. He served from 1885 to 1889 and returned for a second term from 1893 to 1897, making him the only president with two terms that were not back to back. Nicknamed Old Veto, he used the veto hundreds of times, backed civil service reform and the gold standard, and pushed to lower tariffs. He also married Frances Folsom in the White House in 1886.

Queen Latifah
Born March 18, 1970
American rapper, singer, and actress who helped open hip-hop to women and starred in Living Single and Chicago.
Queen Latifah, born Dana Elaine Owens in Newark, New Jersey, grew up in nearby East Orange. She began rapping in high school, and her late-1980s records, including the album All Hail the Queen, helped launch a wave of female rappers. Her song U.N.I.T.Y., which spoke out against sexism and violence toward women, won a Grammy. She then built a major acting career, starring on the sitcom Living Single and earning an Oscar nomination for the musical Chicago. Her films also include Hairspray and Girls Trip, and since 2021 she has led the CBS drama The Equalizer. She has won a Golden Globe, runs the production company Flavor Unit Entertainment, and became a Kennedy Center Honoree in 2023.
