Gene Kelly
Born August 23, 1912
American dancer, actor, and director who starred in classic Hollywood musicals such as Singin' in the Rain.
Gene Kelly was an American dancer, actor, singer, and director from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He took dance lessons as a boy and taught dance to help pay for college. His starring role in the Broadway musical Pal Joey in 1940 led to a contract with MGM. On screen he combined ballet, tap, and jazz with an athletic style, and he even danced with an animated mouse in Anchors Aweigh (1945). His hit musicals include On the Town, An American in Paris, and Singin' in the Rain (1952). Kelly also directed films and helped move dance numbers out of the studio. He received a special Academy Award and the AFI Life Achievement Award.

Kobe Bryant

American basketball star who won five NBA championships during 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kobe Bryant was an American basketball player born in Philadelphia, the son of former NBA player Joe Bryant. He went straight from Lower Merion High School to the NBA in 1996 and played all 20 of his seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, retiring in 2016. He won five NBA titles (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2010), was named league MVP for the 2007-08 season, and earned two NBA Finals MVP awards. An 18-time All-Star, he once scored 81 points in a single game. He also won Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012, created the animated short Dear Basketball, and entered the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.

Barbara Eden is an American actress born Barbara Jean Morehead in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up in San Francisco, where she sang as a teenager, and in the 1950s she appeared on TV shows such as I Love Lucy, Perry Mason, and Gunsmoke. She also starred in a TV version of How to Marry a Millionaire. Her biggest success came with I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970), a comedy created by Sidney Sheldon, in which she played a genie living with an astronaut played by Larry Hagman. The show remains a pop culture favorite. Eden later starred in the 1978 film Harper Valley P.T.A. and its TV series, and she wrote the memoir Jeannie Out of the Bottle.
