She later won Best Actress Oscars for Sophie's Choice and The Iron Lady, and she holds 21 Oscar nominations, a record for any performer. Her many other films include Out of Africa, The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia!, and Julie & Julia. She has also won Emmy Awards and received the Kennedy Center Honors and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

She won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and fans loved her bright hair and playful style as much as her voice. Decades later, she wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical Kinky Boots and became the first woman to win the Tony Award for best score on her own. She founded the True Colors Fund to support LGBTQ+ people and joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2025.

Dan Brown is an American author of best-selling thrillers. He was born in Exeter, New Hampshire, the son of a math teacher and a church organist, and grew up on the campus of Phillips Exeter Academy, where he later taught English after graduating from Amherst College. He also tried a career as a songwriter before turning to fiction. After Digital Fortress, he introduced his hero, Robert Langdon, in Angels & Demons (2000). The next Langdon book, The Da Vinci Code (2003), became a worldwide hit, followed by The Lost Symbol, Inferno, and Origin. His novels, which mix codes, history, art, and the clash between science and religion, have sold over 250 million copies and inspired major films.
