British novelist known for realistic Cold War spy thrillers such as Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
John le Carré was the pen name of David John Moore Cornwell, a British author of realistic spy fiction born in Poole, England. After studying at the University of Oxford, he taught French and Latin at Eton College from 1956 to 1958. In 1959 he joined the British foreign service in West Germany, and he wrote his first novels while working there. His debut, Call for the Dead (1961), introduced George Smiley, a quiet but clever intelligence officer who became his best-known character. Le Carré's major books include The Spy Who Came In from the Cold, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, The Little Drummer Girl, The Night Manager, and The Constant Gardener, many of which became films or TV series.

Evander Holyfield

American boxer who won the world heavyweight championship four times and was an undisputed cruiserweight champion.
Evander Holyfield is an American boxer born in Atmore, Alabama. He won a bronze medal as a light heavyweight at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles before turning professional. He captured a junior heavyweight title in 1986 and became the undisputed cruiserweight champion in 1988. Moving up in weight, he defeated James Douglas in 1990 to become undisputed heavyweight champion. He regained heavyweight titles by beating Riddick Bowe in 1993, upset Mike Tyson in 1996, and won the title again against John Ruiz in 2000. That made him a four-time heavyweight champion, one more than Muhammad Ali. Holyfield entered the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017.

John Lithgow is an American actor from Rochester, New York, admired for his remarkable versatility. Over his career he has played everything from gentle everyday men to chilling villains. On stage he has won two Tony Awards, in 1973 and 2002. In movies he became widely known through The World According to Garp, Terms of Endearment, and Footloose, and he later appeared in Bombshell (2019). On television he starred in the comedy 3rd Rock from the Sun, which brought him Emmy Awards in 1996, 1997, and 1999, and he later earned more acclaim in the drama The Crown. He has continued to move between theater, film, and television throughout his long career.
