American politician who served as the 44th president of the United States and was the first African American to hold the office.
Barack Obama is an American politician and lawyer from Honolulu, Hawaii. He studied at Columbia University and later at Harvard Law School, where he became the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review. After working as a community organizer and teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago, he won a seat in the Illinois State Senate in 1996. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004 and became the 44th president in 2009, serving two terms until 2017. As president he signed the Affordable Care Act, a major health care reform law, and moved to restore diplomatic ties with Cuba. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

Louis Armstrong

American jazz trumpeter and singer known as Satchmo, famous for songs like What a Wonderful World and Hello, Dolly!
Louis Armstrong, nicknamed Satchmo, was a jazz trumpeter, singer, and bandleader from New Orleans. As a young man he played in marching, riverboat, and cabaret bands, then moved to Chicago in 1922 to join King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band. He later played with Fletcher Henderson's orchestra in New York and switched from cornet to trumpet. His Hot Five and Hot Seven recordings of the 1920s helped make the solo performer the star of jazz, and he helped popularize scat singing. Armstrong also became a film actor and a worldwide star. His hit recordings include "Hello, Dolly!", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and "What a Wonderful World."

Jeff Gordon

American NASCAR driver who won four Cup Series championships and three Daytona 500s driving the No. 24 car.
Jeff Gordon is an American race car driver from Vallejo, California, and one of the best-known names in NASCAR. Starting in 1992, he drove the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. He won four NASCAR Cup Series championships, in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2001, and collected 93 career victories, third on the all-time list. His wins include three Daytona 500s and five Brickyard 400s, and he set a record of 797 consecutive starts. Gordon is often credited with helping bring NASCAR to a mainstream audience. After leaving full-time racing, he worked as a race analyst for Fox, joined the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2019, and is now vice chairman of Hendrick Motorsports.
