What happened in the 1920s?
In the 1920s (1920–1929), the Treaty of Versailles took effect and the League of Nations was launched, and Mussolini began the March on Rome in Italy. Japan suffered the Great Kanto Earthquake, passed a universal male suffrage law, and entered the Showa era, and in 1929 the Great Depression began.
